Make-up Trend: Understated Eyes

Freida Pinto's peachy-pink lips and sheer flushed cheeks left her looking glowy and gorgeous at Louis Vuitton's Pret-a-Porter Show at Paris Fashion Week. What made her make up really stand out was her light, understated eye makeup that didn't steal the focus from the rest of the face. If you feel too naked wearing nothing at all on your eyes, try a wash of shimmery nude shadow and just a few swipes of black mascara. Your lips should be the highlight.

Her foundations seems to be so off......like it is not blended properly or not matching her skin tone....isn't it?

I agree she dresses well..she has a good stylist. but i don't think her makeup is something that really stands out for me on Pinto.

I think the understated eyes look is great if your eyes are naturally big, however without tons of mascara I dont look like I have any eyes at all! For some reason even though I am a brunette, my eyelashes are white/very light blonde, so I dont think that this look would work for me :(

@Monika,Ansh I didn't think so, she looks glowy and pretty.

JJC I think that was the point, that her makeup can go from smokey to understated, and she can still look good. I agree her makeup looks normal, and nothing extraordinary, but that's what she can pull off so well. I hope you're getting my point.

@Faye Prettyhead Go to a Bobbi Brown counter, trust me you'll change your mind when they make you over with the Nude palette they came out with. It works with the lightest to the darkest skin tones <3
