Freida Pinto: Rumored New Spokesperson for Estée Lauder?

Freida Pinto is everywhere! She was in the front-row at Dolce & Gabbana and is being wholeheartedly embraced by the fashion world. But the beauty community is claiming her as well; the Slumdog Millionaire star is rumored to be in talks with Estée Lauder to become a spokesperson for the brand. Details have yet to be confirmed, but her contract would no doubt be sizable.

Here's the question, do you think Frieda is a well-suited choice for Estée Lauder or would you like to see her endorsing another make-up brand? Leave me your answer in the comments. Personally, I would love to see her with Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel or M.A.C.

I would love to see Frieda as the face of a cosmetics brand, but not Estee Lauder. To me EL seems so dowdy and oldfashioned. I think she would be better suited to a more modern brand. Also, on a side note, I would love to see Lakshmi Menon as the face of Givenchy. Somehow they are deeply associated in my mind (must be from the clothing ads).

Alexzandra,

I agree, Freida would definitely be better suited for a line like NARS or Lancome, Lauder seems so old-fashioned and ew.

But on the other hand it's good to see EL trying to bring women of color on board, unlike Chanel whose spokespeople are ALWAYS white, and like super duper pale white :/

Also, talking about EL, they havent had a very impressive resume either, they had Elizabeth Hurley, and now Gwyneth Paltrow, I dont know what it is with all these lines who always seem to choose white ladies to represent their line :/

Great posts lately.

See? I think of Lancome as dowdy too. Not AS dowdy as EL, but really old and, well, I'll stop there.
I'd love to see Frieda with a fat contract, whomever gets her first. She's lovely and will put a great face out there.

Keep up the great blogging!
